Another Armageddon deadline has come and gone… so let’s consider what physically might happen to the Earth during an End Time scenario in the future. Will it be a flood, as the Bible describes the last one? Or nuclear or biological war? Or technology gone awry (for example CERN’s large hadron collider, or HAARP.)? Or environmental degradation beyond the breaking point?… Well, one scenario makes sense to me. Perhaps the Earth’s axis is stabilized to some extent by the presence of ice caps at the North and South poles, which act as solid endpoints of the axis. If so, then as the ice melts, the axis could destabilize….
