In the 1990s, before cell phones were all the rage, people used landline phones, and they often had a telephone answering device (TAD) next to the phone so that callers could leave messages if no one answered.

INIT members in the 1990s started to find spirit messages on their answering machines when they got home from work or shopping or visiting friends. Most of the messages were friendly and informative. Some were mind-boggling. Nearly all* of the messages were facilitated by Timestream spirit group at level 3 (see the diagram below).

*I got just one disturbing TAD message from Earth’s shadow, and this article helps explain how and why negative contacts like that can happen. I include that spooky spirit contact at the end of this article. Happy Halloween 2023! 😮 🎃

To put it all into perspective, life-energy from the source spreads vitality, love, honesty, trust, and other fine motivations to sustain peace and coherence throughout the cosmos. Some of the life-energy gets deflected by Earth’s rowdy nature, casting a spiritual shadow of vileness, hate, deception, skepticism, and other destructive motivations that have nowhere else to go, so they get stuck around the planet like an invisible storm cloud… as shown in this pulled-apart diagram of the seven light, brilliant levels of the superimposed cosmos (and the seven dark, negative levels of Earth’s shadow).

This article is a small, representative sampling of spirit TAD messages received by four INIT members:

• Maggy Fishbach and her husband Jules Harsch (Luxembourg),
• Friedrich Malkhoff (Germany), and
• me (USA).

These are the INIT members who shared some of their phone messages publicly to further the research. Other members (as well as some nonmembers) also received TAD spirit messages and spirit phone calls from our friends at Timestream that they kept private.

The first message below is one of the most important directives ever received in our world from finer spirit (I believe), judging by its content and clarity.

Maggy Fischbach

Schoolteacher Maggy Fischbach started receiving exceptional spirit contacts in the 1980s—hundreds of them. Voices broke loud and clear through her radios—Here it is summer, always summer!… Soon it will work everywhere!—and pictures from the spirit worlds flashed across her TV screen. She got lots of spirit phone calls, and text and picture files were delivered routinely by invisible hands onto her computer hard drive.

Maggy meticulously logged all of her contacts and published the results in her CETL Infonews journal in Europe. It was written in German, the predominant language in the region at the time. I suspect those Infonews articles could someday be considered great historical documents that (so far) have rarely seen the light of day, beyond a small circle of readers.

Parts of those Infonews documents are scattered around this website, thanks to Maggy inviting me to publish English translations of her work here in the States in the 1990s. My original documents were all lost in the house fire a couple of years ago, but much of the information was already on this website and on worlditc.

I consider the audioclip below to be Maggy’s most important contact, received on her TAD in 1996 as our INIT members were preparing for our second annual meeting in Tarrytown NY. (The first meeting had been held the previous year in Dartington, England.) When we all got to Tarrytown, Maggy handed me an audiocassette that contained 4 audio files, each under a minute in length (the recording limit of her TAD). Returning home after the meeting, I spliced them together into a single file, below. The voice belongs to “Technician,” one of The Seven finer beings, and it came across in English rather than the usual German.

(I’ve accompanied the voice contact with Faure’s classic composition In Paradisum, as arranged and performed by Raphael Sharpe at the Kahua Institute, which gives the ethereal message an earthly boost, I think.) 🙂

In the course of bygone decades, of thousands of earthly years, beings interested in human species meet to decide on the continuation of the project. You must not imagine that only The Seven implicated in the actual development of INIT are there; no, it is a coming together of all entities interested in mankind. The interests are various. We, The Seven of the Rainbow People, have decided to help and support the way chosen by you in INIT. It is the way of morals, which means to understand, to acknowledge, to devise, and to act. It is not to be mixed up with religion, which means to believe. The two can be complementary, but they are independent, one to the other. You already know that also pharisees, ghouls, swindlers, thieves–yes, even murderers—have their interested supporters here among the dead. And, as the word “higher being”—notice that we never gave us this name ourselves—does not stand, as it is often misinterpreted by falsely religious people to be purified, rid of all sin, whatever the word “sin” means for them. There are also entities here interested in that situation. This is the seventh time that we accompany and guide you on your progress towards a free, wealthy, and sane future in which humanity would have stripped off the chains of intolerance and cruelty—a future in which it will be able to establish fruitful and durable relationship with the light, ethereal realms of existence. Our and your opponents tried to prevent this by all means. Your meeting in Tarrytown is a decisive one—men and women of wit whittled out together to make true the dream of a strong international association based on morals and on ethics, by giving it not only a fundamental constitution—and sheltering it this way from the wind, the rain, and the storms of pernicious attacks—but also by strengthening love and friendship true, the best qualities of mankind. The first step was made in Dartington. Those last weeks some of your best were cruelly hit by illnesses, diseases, and personal problems in order to keep them away from their valuable work. Be assured, even if we cannot avoid the plague, we can control the gravity. Whatever has happened, do not lose courage. We are there. You are in the right way. You are a small number, but much depends on you and on your decisions those days. We trust in you.

Here’s what the message means, as far as I can tell, based on research (especially other ITC contacts):

• The project refers to “Project Sothis,” which began 20,000 years ago with the intent to open a space-time portal to connect us rowdy humans on Earth to finer civilizations (both spiritual and extraterrestrial, I suspect). The project was supposed to come to fruition in Atlantis, but it failed because Atlantis made Earth a rowdier place through bad decisions… and a space-time portal would have required resonance, or harmony. The hope with INIT was to try again to inspire humanity to a place of peace and decency by opening an ITC bridge. That’s what the “entities interested in mankind” apparently have to decide now—is a space-time bridge with Earth feasible?—and there are apparently lots of opinions out there.
• “All entities” refers not just to finer beings like The Seven, but also to the many diverse entities associated with our world, including spirits from many levels of the cosmos—maybe even some negative spirits from the shadow… and extraterrestrials.
• This message was delivered by The Seven finer beings, who said they’ve been quietly supporting humanity across the eons from finer realms. They devised, sustained, protected, and supported our INIT group and our ITC contact bridge as best they could.
• An important definition of “morals” apparently refers to the guiding force for behavior everywhere throughout the cosmos: Stay aligned to the source, then understand, acknowledge, devise, and act on the information you receive.
• People who habitually hurt other people and take things from them without remorse (thieves, murderers, etc.) typically awaken in Earth’s shadow after they die, where they continue to have a negative impact on our world.
• Western religion has built itself up around the idea of “sin,” which I think refers mainly to the predatory, parasitic, and competitive compulsions of life on Earth that cause a lot of suffering here. Since these compulsions are wrapped up in our genetic and behavioral (hormonal) make-up, religions have devised ways to explain and contend with them—for example, by calling them “sin.” From a finer spiritual perspective, our earthy compulsions to hurt each other, to steal from each other, or to lord over each other, are like tiny splinters in the little toe of the greater cosmos… and we humans (since we try to be stewards of the planet) need to figure out how to remove them. Religion has always done the best it can to contend with such a daunting, pervasive negative force.
• Seventh time? I think they mean that human civilizations have been struggling since Atlantis to build and sustain a culture that would finally bring peace and order to humanity, with guidance and support from finer beings like The Seven. And this modern age is the seventh time they’ve come close to help us out since Atlantis.
• That’s what our INIT group was trying to figure out—how to overcome troubled thinking in order to achieve a sense of oneness among our members—but we had lots of opponents on both sides of the veil that stirred up fears and resentments. Here on Earth, there were hardened skeptics and jealous colleagues. In Earth’s shadow there were lots of confused spirits who wanted to get in on the action or stir things up. Timestream and The Seven, meanwhile, went to great lengths to keep things calm and safe and to sustain friendship, trust, and mutual respect in their communications with us. They always had to work with us from a place of peace… to resist getting embroiled in our dramas (which would put them at risk of getting stuck in Earth’s shadow).
• As finer beings throughout the cosmos watch our world, they see love and friendship as the best qualities of mankind.
• Love and friendship are undermined by the predatory, parasitic, and competitive impulses of our world that collect in Earth’s shadow. Entities living in the shadow plague our world with those troubled impulses. They cycle them back into our world.
• The Seven (and some other finer beings in the cosmos) had high hopes for our INIT group. With their help maybe we could figure things out and find viable solutions for our troubled world. That was the hope. In any case, much depends on what humanity eventually decides to do (if anything) with the information we received from Timestream and The Seven.

The contacts below (Malkhoff’s and mine) give an idea of the challenges that finer spirit has to overcome when trying to establish an ITC bridge, or contact field, with us.

Friedrich Malkhoff (and Adolf Homes)

Friedrich Malkhoff (Schweich, Germany) was a steadfast member of INIT from its inception in 1995. Retired early from the German railway, he’d gotten interested in ITC in the 1980s while watching TV shows with his wife Erika about spirit voices on tape, especially Incredible Stories hosted by Rainer Holbe in Luxembourg. Fritz bought a tape recorder, gave it a try, and was surprised to find lots of tiny voices in his recordings.

Before long he saw a newspaper ad placed by a guy in Rivenich, a mere 15 minutes away by car, who was also fascinated by spirit voice recordings and was looking for partners. Fritz called Adolf Homes in Rivenich, and the two became fast friends, meeting every week to experiment.

With Adolf’s psychic sensitivity, they soon began to get incredible spirit contacts with radio and phone calls. Fritz even convinced Adolf to try using a computer, which was a little intimidating to tech-wary Adolf, but they soon started finding text files planted on the hard drive.

That started to happen after Malkhoff and Homes attended a conference in Darmstadt, where they met Maggy Fischbach of Luxembourg, a mere hour away from Schweich—and the three started cooperating.

Maggy had already established an open portal to her spirit friends at Timestream, protected by The Seven finer beings, so from that point on the two German colleagues enjoyed a quantum leap in their spirit contacts, as Maggy’s contact field rubbed off on them, and portals quickly opened up in their own homes. That’s when Adolf started to get amazing contacts through the computer.

Here are two of the TAD contacts received in the home of Friedrich Malkhoff. Most of his messages came from the well-known Latvian psychologist and parapsychologist Konstantin Raudive, who’s been a prominent spirit communicator since his death in 1974. One message is from Ishkumar, one of The Seven finer beings.

Konstantin Raudive Contacts Malkhoff

Here Konstantin Raudive is helping to coordinate the two ITC bridges being developed for Fritz Malkhoff in Schweich and Adolf Homes in Rivenich. There were lots of cross-contacts like this involving various ITC researchers in the 1990s, mostly coordinated by the Timestream spirit group working with Maggy Fischbach.

In late 1990 Maggy received a message from Timestream through her TV set announcing that Malkhoff and Homes had received their first spirit phone calls at the same time, making it clear that there would be improvements for Malkhoff and Homes, but they’d need to be patient.

Hier Konstantin Raudive. Heute Nachmittag, am 03. November 1990 Ihrer Zeitrechnung, wurden zwei erfolgreiche Telefon-Kontakte nach Rivenich und Schweich durchgefuehrt. Weitere Anweisungen folgen. Hier war Konstantin Raudive.

This is Konstantin Raudive. This afternoon, November 3rd, 1990, in your time, two telephone contacts have successfully been made to Rivenich and Schweich. Further instructions will follow. This was Konstantin Raudive.

It took four years to stabilize the bridge, but in February, 1994, Malkhoff and Maggy Fischbach got a simultaneous message in their TADs:

This is the first try for a transtemporal simultaneity adaptation between the Scheich and Luxemburg stations. This contact was sent to the stations Schweich and Luxemburg at the same time. Further stations are under configuration, be patient. This was Konstantin Raudive.

The following day Malkhoff received a follow-up message on his TAD:

Es ist uns gelungen, den ersten Direktkontakt zur suedlichen Hemisphaere Brasilien durchzustellen. Dies geschah nicht zuletzt durch Ihr Mitwirken, Friedrich Malkhoff …

We have succeeded in putting the first direct contact through to the southern hemisphere, Brazil. Last but not least, this took place with your contribution, Friedrich Malkhoff.

At this point it was starting to become apparent to me that Timestream was trying to establish a global network of ITC stations for all of humanity with its many cultural, religious, and linguistic differences. Huge task!

(They announced in other contacts that they were trying to start with 7 stable ITC bridges. As you might imagine, an announcement like that was bound to stir up not just hope and inspiration, but also a bit of envy and uncertainty… who would be the chosen ones? This is Earth, after all, the world of mixed emotions,)

The Seven Finer Beings Contact Malkhoff

Ishkumar, one of The Seven, also left a voice message on Malkhoff’s TAD, but it got garbled. Fortunately, the complete message was received successfully, at the same time, in Luxembourg.

Hier spricht ISHKUM einer der Bewohner des Planeten Terra: Freunde der instrumentellen Transkommunikation ihr habt einen neuen Weg beschritten, und die von euch angestrebte Einheit wird euch helfen, zum Licht und zur….

Ishkum speaking to one of the inhabitants of planet Terra, friends of instrumental communication, you have set your feet on a new path, and the unity you aspire to will help you to …. to the light and to …

While that message got garbled on Malkhoff’s TAD, the complete message had come through successfully through Maggy’s TAD in Luxembourg:

Ishkumar speaking, one of the Seven: Inhabitants of planet Terra. Friends of instrumental transcommunication. You have set your feet on a new path, and the unity you aspire to will help to find the light and the truth. Beware, though, of false friendship and pride of place. Also beware of those preaching love but doing differently in practice. This will be the only way to have the pieces become one whole. This was Ishkumar, one of the Seven.

When we formed INIT in 1995 around the work of Maggy and Jules Harsch-Fischbach, Friedrich Malkhoff eagerly joined our group. Adolf Homes declined, preferring to work with German physics professor Ernst Senkowski. I urged my friend Ernst to attend that first INIT meeting along with Adolf Homes. (The previous year I’d visited Ernst in Mainz and he’d visited Regina and me in Colorado.) But Ernst preferred to take a more independent, more scientific approach to ITC, along with Adolf Homes, so their phenomenal ITC results developed in a slightly different direction from INIT’s.

Here are a couple of messages left on my telephone answering device in the 1990s—one from a typical “good spirit” (Konstantin Raudive) in the level 3 paradise where most of us awaken after we die, and the other from a “bad spirit,” an imposter stuck in Earth’s shadow. Listening to the two voices, I think you’ll easily discern the genuine good guy from the imposter bad guy.

Konstantin kept busy contacting several of us INIT members through our phones, radios, TVs, computers, and recording devices. Konstantin was a respectful, patient, philosophical man in lifetime—a noted Latvian psychologist—and he’s still that way in his current life in the level 3 paradise and level 4 summerland of the afterlife (see the earlier diagram), where he considers it his mission to help humanity advance spiritually through ITC.

This is the voice of Konstantin Raudive speaking English, which you can compare to the German he spoke while addressing Fritz Malkhoff earlier. This message arrived on February 2, 1994, as the backstory below explains:

This is Konstantin Raudive speaking. We just tried to contact George Meek. We succeeded, but he didn’t get what we wanted to tol’—tell—him. We were talking to him that we tried to make mediumistic contact with Jean Peterson, and he wanted to register (thought we meant) by other means—electric means. There will be no telephone contacts to your ITC group, Colleague Mark, until you will have strengthened the bridge, the mediumistic bridge, to our Timestream Group. This is Konstantin Raudive speaking.

Here’s the important backstory to that message:

January 21, 1994: I was stunned and delighted to get my first phone call (at home in Louisville, Colorado) from spirit group Timestream but had no way to record it. During that call Konstantin Raudive was pleased to announce that an American communication bridge was being formed by their spirit group. (In the coming days I connected in-line recorders to our three landline phones for future spirit phone calls, as I explain in the next article.) Then, a week later…

January 27: Calls from Konstantin Raudive were received by American ITC researchers George Meek (North Carolina) and Sarah Estep (Maryland), who recorded their phone dialogs (again… next article).

January 28: George Meek was out of the house when his secretary Sande received another phone call from Raudive and took a message: Timestream would try to establish contact through Mrs. Jean Peterson, a gifted psychic who was assisting my ITC experiments in Colorado. They would try to make contact on Feb. 1 at 3 pm.

February 1: I drove to Jean’s home in Castle Rock. We waited for a phone call from our spirit friends at 3pm, but it didn’t happen. We were disappointed. The next day…

February 2: George received another phone contact from Timestream, but his tape recorder didn’t work. Raudive told him that further contacts to the US would require a stronger psychic bridge, or contact field. When I got home from work that day, I found the same message from Raudive on my TAD (the message above).

Conclusion: Konstantin was telling us, essentially, that an ITC bridge or contact field requires a telepathic (mind-to-mind) rapport before they can deliver their information to our equipment. They were hoping that Jean’s strong psychic skills could be used for that purpose while establishing an American contact field. So they were trying to contact Jean telepathically on February 1 to establish a psychic rapport. They weren’t trying to contact us by phone that day, as we had assumed.

A Spooky Imposter Spirit Contacts Me

This is a voice of a spirit imposter from Earth’s shadow who was trying to disrupt our work in 1996. Our spirit friends identified him as a “negative spirit” called “Afra,” who misrepresents himself in the TAD message below as “Konstantin Raudive.”

Afra also made a phone call to a fellow INIT member, Ralf Determeyer of Germany (Contact! Issue 9602 p14), warning Ralf that he was going to die in the coming days. That’s when our spirit friends at Timestream told us about Afra and other negative spirits in the shadow who work against spiritual growth and enlightenment. Instead of fostering friendship, trust, honesty, and good will, they stir up fear, suspicion, lies, and hostility. Apparently it’s nothing personal against us; it’s just in their nature to be that way.

Our spirit friends told us not to worry about negative spirits breaking in from time to time. They (Timestream) were doing what they could to protect the bridge from these disruptions, and the best thing we could do was to stay closely united in friendship, sincerity, trust, and good will. With those positive attitudes the contact field remains strong and clear and out of reach for negative spirits. It’s only when we become negative ourselves—with worry, suspicion, or enmity—that the contact field destabilizes to the point where negative spirits can start to break in.

In other words, stay positive and don’t take the shadow too seriously.

Resonate with the inner light as best you can, and then ITC can do a lot of good in the world.

I guess that’s the rule of thumb for all endeavors on Earth… and probably throughout the cosmos: Resonate with the inner light.
