Contact field. A stable (resonant) contact field is one key ingredient of an ITC bridge, allowing refined spirits to deliver meaningful, positive information “directly” into our computers, phones, radios, TVs, and other modern devices. The previous article described a contact field as a working rapport between Earth people and refined spirits in our afterlife paradise at level 3. They all resonate with each other as best they can.
Kindness and sincerity. To be in touch with kind, supportive spirits at level 3, the earthside team should be as kind and “open” as they can be—all cards on the table. The better they resonate with each other, the easier it is for spirits at level 3 to work with them.
Psychic sensitivity. We communicate mostly by sharing words and pictures. Spirits share thought impulses telepathically. When starting an ITC group and establishing a contact field, someone on the team needs to have telepathic skills that are reasonably pure.* That purity is likely to improve, and other members’ psychic skills may likely develop naturally over time. Some people are born with psychic sensitivity, which can be both a benefit and a burden (because of Earth’s shadow). In a resonant ITC group, it is mostly a benefit.
*Information coming to our world from the spirit worlds is always filtered by human minds—by our beliefs, expectations, and egos.
Information through a medium is typically about 20 percent pure (80 percent filtered).
Information through a stable ITC contact field is typically about 80 percent pure (20 percent filtered).
Focused will. Some people are born with another important quality for ITC: a strong, focused will. Our spirit friends say that such people stand out from others. They make big changes in their surroundings with their strong intentions. Those changes are usually imperceptible to us, but spirits perceive them clearly. I think of this innate, focused will as an “ITC aptitude.”
Refined spiritual support. Last but not least, we want “good” spirits working with us. As we adopt the steps listed above, kind and supportive spirits take an interest in our project. That’s how spirits live and collaborate. They’re drawn naturally into groups of spirits with whom they resonate. They’re also attracted to good-spirited people on Earth.
Let’s face it, though: It’s nearly impossible for any group of us humans to really resonate with each other calmly and warmly as time passes. There are personality differences, hidden agendas, carnal desires and repulsions, latent fears and doubts and jealousies… so resonance of an ITC group is the ideal toward which they have to work tirelessly. Meanwhile…
Exceptional ITC contacts streamed through the computers and phones of our INIT group—despite our moderate human failings—thanks to The Seven finer beings, who were able to override our bristling emotions to make miracles happen. They were giving us a taste of what’s possible. Once we humans can learn how to resonate with each other to the decency-vibrations of the finer cosmos, “miracles” will become mainstream. Until then, we just do the best we can.

The very nuts and bolts of ITC is here; at least as I have come to understand it. For me, the key words in this post are “pure…someone, and…focused will.”
Tonight we are going to watch the 1997 movie “Contact.” I am curious to see if I can get a better inkling of what was really recorded during the mysterious 18 hours of static when our heroine took her plunge into a great beyond.
As always, I enjoyed this post, especially the bottom line, “Then, ‘miracles’ will be mainstream. Until then, we just do the best we can.”
Thank you Mark.
Yes, those seem to be at the heart of a contact bridge:
“pure” mediumship skills of “someone” in the group, and a “focused will” also innate to someone in the group.
Thanks John,
Mark
Hello Mr Macy,
I had the privilege to work with your group in early 2000 and it was a wonderful experience. I am always grateful for the opportunity to learn more about ITC and the communication with the other side. I am happy to see your commitment and your resilience… Best wishes always!
Myrna
Hi Myrna! Nice hearing from you after all these years.
Those days were my first experience of working together as a (fairly) cohesive group of local friends*. The good feelings we shared and the excitement over the (modest) contacts we got.
(*The INIT group that I’d been in the previous 5 years forged some international friendships, but they couldn’t be as close or intimate since videoconferencing was not yet a possibility.)
Thanks for the reminiscence. 🙂

I belonged to the North American Contact Group for a number of years. I loved it and it was amazing. The hard part was making a connection with the folks in the group as everyone was scattered all, over the US.
Thanks for your post and everything you do for the field !
Mary
Hi Mary,
Videoconferencing will probably be a major breakthrough for ITC if and when it becomes mainstream. Groups no longer have to meet in the same room, which is really expensive and otherwise restrictive for international collaboration.
Thanks for making contact!
Mark
