Mini 36
Note: Back in the 1970s I was passionate about peace, politics, economics, and the state of the world. Looking back, it almost feels like a lost cause. A couple of examples:
Back then, the consensus was, every product that could be recyclable and recycled must be recyclable and recycled. Today, a huge proportion of product packaging is nonrecyclable plastic or plastic-laminated cardboard that ends up in the vast, toxic fields of garbage that are spreading quickly around the planet like a flesh-eating disease.
Back then, a world population of 4 billion was putting enormous stress on economies and ecosystems and probably (as some of us believed) should have been reduced to 1 billion people, a level first reached around the year 1800 (when, according to polar ice cores, things really started going bad). Today, there are 8 billion of us humans whose ravenous industries are overheating and suffocating the global ecosystem.
This little article (with lots of links to background info) is a snapshot of all of my research into life and afterlife… the worldly issues that consumed me through the 1970s, and the other-worldly mysteries that have captivated me since the 1980s. (Hopefully these links to highlighted text work on your browser. If not, see the notes after the article for a workaround.)
In a nutshell, the best version of Earth would be a world of small families—more precisely, a maximum human population of 1 billion—a world where humans and their groups (families, companies, communities, industries, nations…) live modestly, not lavishly… frugally, not wastefully. Our natural inclination to prosper and proliferate can make modest living feel restrictive, even unreasonable, but I’m convinced that the best version of Earth will someday be based on moderate living.
That moderate living might come naturally to people who can transcend their earthy limitations by embracing their inner light (a.k.a God). Meanwhile, here are nine topics that deserve a closer look, from both down-to-earth and elevated-spiritual perspectives.
- One world. – – – – – – —— earth —— spirit
- Conservation. – – – – – —— earth —— spirit
- Peace. – – – – – – – – – —— earth —— spirit
- Symbiosis. – – – – – – – —— earth —— spirit
- Money. – – – – – – – – – —— earth —— spirit
- Ancient past. – – – – – – —— earth —— spirit
- Extraterrestrials. – – – —— earth —— spirit
- One cosmos. – – – – – – —— earth —— spirit
- Apocalypse. – – – – – – —— earth —— spirit
In summary, there are many forces compelling us humans not to be peaceful and reasonable—forces inside us (hormones) as well as forces all around us (predators, parasites, and competitors). But we can neutralize the influence of most of those forces by transcending Earth’s drama, especially through meditation, contemplative prayer, and other techniques for silent spiritual centering.
This is the time for healing the separation. Spiritual masters, psychics, astrologers, and others today agree that ‘we are in this together.’ Oneness is the keyword of truth.

This was the last article in the Mini series. The next series will be about the long-hidden truths that were divulged or revealed to our INIT group by The Seven finer beings at the end of last century. I think of these timeless truths as world treasures, and when supplemented by knowledge of modern science, collective wisdom of the world religions, and the search abilities of artificial intelligence, they could give us a clearer understanding of our world, its ancient past, and its place in the cosmos than ever before possible. I’ll do my best to relay their messages (and my interpretations) as clearly and factually as possible. The next series will probably be called something like Disclosures or Revelations.

Regarding recycling, I adopted an old (Yankee) maxim years back…”Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.”
Mark, your website is a veritable encyclopedia of extraordinary things (and the links to them)!
Thanks John, that’s a great yankee maxim. 🙂
And your comments about this website mean a lot to me. Thanks!
