Removing Meddlesome Spirits

If you or someone you know is being troubled by meddlesome spirits, the following short excerpt from the article is probably the key piece:

– – – – – – – – – – – –

Freeing our self from the influences of troubled, meddlesome spirits is largely a matter of releasing our fear, and replacing it with peace of mind and kindness… kindness to our self and kindness to those around us. Love our family and friends. Help the less fortunate. Foster friendships and relationships that are genuinely noble, where we help and support each other. These attitudes raise our spiritual vibration, effectively creating a barrier against meddling spirits. Most important, we foster our connection to that creative higher power that’s at the center of everything. (Pray to God, which gets the attention of a vast network of spirit guardians.)

Understanding the reality of spirit is probably the first big step in removing our fears and susceptibility. Once we (and our friends and families) understand that good will and love attract guardians to protect against meddlesome spirits, we can relax into a process of inner work and spiritual purification… through kindness and caring….

A few spiritually astute psychotherapists use releasement techniques that can effectively remove meddling spirits from one’s life. Examples: Dr Alan Sanderson in the UK and Dr Thomas Zinser in Michigan, USA. Many more releasement therapists can be found online with a simple google search.

And now… the rest of the story:

Spirits move in and out of our world all the time and affect our lives, for better or worse.

  • Spirit guardians inspire, protect and help us (upside).
  • Confused, earthbound spirits meddle in our lives (downside).

(To see how this invisible interplay works, from the spirit’s point of view, here’s an article (actually a partial book summary) that gives some rather amazing insight… including how to get the attention of finer spirits for help and protection.)

I’ve spent years puzzling over the chronic problem of spirit attachment here on Earth and how to remove or release meddling spirits. There are two parts to the process:

  1. Removing them, and
  2. Keeping them away.

Remove Meddling Spirits

Here are a few of the common ways to remove meddling spirits:

  • Psychospiritual therapy,
  • Pharmaceutical drugs, and
  • Electrical technologies.

Psychospiritual therapy

A few spiritually astute psychotherapists use releasement techniques that can effectively remove meddling spirits from one’s life. Examples: Dr Alan Sanderson in the UK and Dr Thomas Zinser in Michigan, USA.

Pharmaceutical drugs

Many of the drugs used to treat mental illness, such as Seroquel, change the biochemistry of the brain in such a way (I’m reasonably certain) that the body becomes less “inhabitable” by meddling spirits. Unfortunately, these drugs can’t be acquired without a prescription and, of course, they’ve never been clinically tested against meddling spirits, since most doctors don’t believe in spirits. Also, they (the drugs, not the doctors) have a lot of nasty side-effects.

Electrical technologies

Electricity has been around forever and can be a useful tool for spirit removal.

Dr Carl and Anna Wicklund and their wimhurst machine

Electrostatic discharge to the spine. The best spirit-removal technique I’ve found was used a century ago by a Swedish-American doctor, Carl Wickland, and unfortunately, as far as I can tell, it’s not been used since. He used a big “wimhurst” generator to create strong electrostatic sparks, which he applied to a patient’s spine. The electrical charge was intolerable to the spirits who’d moved into the patients’ bodies, and they bolted. Wickland’s wife Anna, a spiritual medium, would then communicate with the detached, confused spirits and help them move to a better place where they could find peace.

(Read more about Wickland’s technique here….)

As I say, Wickland’s simple technique hasn’t been used for the past hundred years, as far as I know, since the publication of his groundbreaking book, Thirty Years Among the Dead.

ECT machine.

Electroconvulsive therapy. What has been used in recent decades, clinically, is electroshock therapy, or electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), which sends patients into seizure. ECT is gentler today than it was 50 years ago, when it was similar to electrocution and did a lot of damage to patients. From a spirit-removal point of view, old-fashioned electroshock therapy was like burning down part of the house to get rid of termites.

Modern ECT is milder. It involves small electric currents applied to the brain of a patient under general anesthesia. Assuming that it does remove attached spirits (and I suspect it does, though I haven’t studied it), the problem is keeping them away from the patient through some sort of spiritual intervention after the treatment (like the mediumship work provided by Anna Wickland).

Scientists and doctors today don’t acknowledge the existence and influence of spirits, so they treat “mental illness.” Interestingly, the mental illness symptoms treated by ECT (severe depression, severe mania, catatonia, schizophrenia….) are among the same symptoms that can accompany spirit attachment.

Typical TENS/EMS unit.

Electrotherapy. Today there’s a simple, inexpensive technology that might work for anyone who needs to remove meddling spirits… “might” being the key word here.

A few months ago I chatted with a genius-inventor buddy* of mine to see if we could come up with a small, pocket-sized, battery-operated device that would generate an electric spark like Wickland’s massive wimhurst generator. That way, whenever a person felt the symptoms of spirit attachment, he could give himself a little jolt and go on with his life. Simply zap away the depression and voices-in-the-head caused by meddling spirits.

My buddy (an agnostic who’s always willing to humor me because of our friendship that’s been going on since childhood) thought about it for a couple of weeks, did some research, and told me, “No need to reinvent the wheel. Try a TENS unit or an EMS device.”

So I bought a TENS/EMS device. While it’s not exactly the “Li’l Sparky” I envisioned—something to deliver a nice electrostatic charge to the spinal column—it does provide an electric current that can be delivered to the muscles around the spine. The intensity of the current is adjustable.

I’ve been working with it on myself for a couple of months, and I think it’ll work. I don’t have any serious spirit attachment issues, so at this point it’s just theoretical.

If you want to try it, and if you think you have troubled spirit meddling in your life, here’s what I did:

  1. Purchase a TENS unit that can deliver a significant burst. The one I bought is an iReliev. Read all the warnings before using it, such as not placing electrodes near the heart.
  2. Find the setting that delivers a burst rather than a constant or modulated current. The iReliev setting is TENS P2.
  3. Attach the electrodes to the lower back, one on each side of the spine.
  4. Turn on the unit at the appropriate setting and crank it up to a high intensity to get a series of bursts, then crank it back down.
  5. Do this several times and see if it makes a pronounced difference on your mental state.

If you think or know that you have serious troubles with meddling spirits, and if you try this TENS unit approach, please let me know the results. I’ll keep your information confidential unless you give me permission to publish it here on macyafterlife.

All of the devices and techniques described above are short-term solutions. They can remove meddling spirits for a while, but most of us would like a way to keep them out of our lives over the long term.

Freeing Yourself of Meddling Spirits, Once and for All

There are spirits all around us all the time, even though they’re imperceptible to our five senses… and even though most doctors and scientists roll their eyes at the notion. Spirits are definitely here among us.

When most people die, their spirits soon get settled in a paradise afterlife world, where peace, love, trust, and concern for others are a way of life.

But if people led selfish lives at the expense of others, caused a lot of pain to a lot of people, or if they were trapped in fear or hatred or intolerance or thoughts of vengeance, then they might become “earthbound” spirits for a while after they die. They stay close to the Earth and meddle in the roller-coaster lives of the living.

The law of resonance is as strong and immutable to spirits as the law of gravity or the law of aging is to us mortal humans. Spirits are naturally pulled together like magnets into relationships and communities of like-minded spirits.

It stands to reason, then, that spirits are drawn not only to each other, but also to people on Earth… when there is a resonance.

People of a kind, creative nature attract the attention of finer spirits who inspire them with musical, artistic, literary, or inventive ideas.

People who are caught up in fear or mistrust or vengeance or hatred attract troubled, earthbound spirits into their lives who stir up their troubled feelings.

So freeing our self from the influences of troubled, meddlesome spirits is simply a matter of erasing our own troubled thoughts and attitudes (especially fear), and replacing them with kindness… kindness to our self and kindness to those around us. Love our family and friends. Help the less fortunate. Foster friendships and relationships that are genuinely noble, where we help and support each other.

Most important, we foster our connection to that creative higher power that’s at the center of everything, which attracts spirit guardians. There are probably millions of confused, meddlesome spirits stuck near the Earth, while there are certainly trillions of bright, brilliant souls in finer realms, many of them willing to help kind people on Earth

Understanding the reality of spirit is probably the first big step in removing our fears and susceptibility. Once we understand that good will and love can attract spirit guardians to protect us against meddlesome spirits, we can relax into a process of inner work and spiritual purification.

*You can see some of my genius-buddy’s work while he was employed by the Water Pik company by googling “Leland Leber inventions.” Since his retirement he’s also developed an effective cancer cure… but with similar frustrating results as Stanislaw Burzynski. The multibillion-dollar pharmaceutical industry and “cancer research” foundations quickly squelch these effective cures that would cost them billions and billions of dollars. Das kapital…     that’s capitalism….

(Not long after posting this article, Regina and I watched a fact-based movie, Brain on Fire, about a bright, young woman whose behavior evolves from normal to wacky to crazy to catatonic. All the doctors are stumped, and through it all I’m thinking, meddlesome spirits. I don’t want to spoil the ending, but let’s just say a wise man from the Far East finally intervenes after all else fails. The lesson for me is that the interplay between, physical, neurochemical, medical, and spiritual isn’t so easy to unravel and treat… and we often jump to conclusions that are familiar to us.)

Good article Mr. Macy……….this is definitely an area that needs to be further researched

  2. Thanks for this posting, Mark.
Spirit influence is a very important and neglected influence in our lives.
Can we expect the manufacturers of TENS units to assist in some research?

    • Mark Macy says:

      Hey John,

I doubt if many technology companies would get involved with spirit research as long as science and medicine roll their eyes at the idea. Maybe if it was done quietly, behind the scenes….

Anyway, it would be good if a few independent experimenters tried spirit releasement with a TENS unit and had good results. Then I suspect they might be able to get some interest among manufacturers.

      Mark
