Just a brief announcement: I just posted my new ebook on amazon.
It’s Faces In the Mist, a polished-up version of the series of the same name that I posted on this blog recently. I included many readers’ comments in the book.

Not much in the ebook that’s not here on the blog (other than maybe a more cohesive story)… but there it is….

Hi Mark,
Congratulations on your new Ebook of your ‘Faces’ blog series!
It was a beautiful series.
I have a question to ask cause I included a couple postings in it. Are any of
my comments included?
Being a bit new here, just want to know if some of your bloggings are
made into Ebooks and if so, how will I know which ones?
Take care,
Marri
Hi Marri,
Yes, I did include some of your comments in the ebook. Most of them, in fact.
Readers’ comments filled out that “Faces In the Mist” series of articles on this blog amazingly well, with the different perspectives and insights… and I wanted to capture that diversity in the book.
Each comment is accompanied by the username… in your case, “Marri Perez.” The picture-icons and dates were removed.
It was kind of an experiment… this being my second ebook, and the only one that includes readers’ comments. My hope is that those who share their views on the blog would also enjoy having them shared in the ebook.
The ebook world is a perfect venu for this experiment. If it turns out that any readers are uncomfortable sharing their comments in the ebooks, I can easily remove them, (Unlike printed books, ebooks can be edited and updated at any time after they’re “published.”)
I don’t advertise my ebooks, other than the announcement on my blog, so they’re not exactly “flying off the shelf.” 🙂
Thanks to your comment here, I’m going to post an article on my blog in the coming days on this subject.
The main thing I DON’T want to do is to discourage open discourse on the blog… and if including readers’ comments in my ebooks does that, I’ll certainly regroup.
I’m experimenting, as I said… trying to get a feel for this new world of blogs and ebooks.
Thanks so much for your good comments, and especially this one.
Mark
Hi Mark,
Thank you for your reply, concern and explanation.
As for my comments on ‘Faces’, I would not want you to remove them.
How will I know which comments get included in the future…I know you’ll tell us!
All my best to you,
Marri
Hi Marri, I’ll try to make it a point to announce the comments that go into future ebooks. Good idea. Mark
Dear Mark,
I apologize!
I should have taken the time and typed ‘Faces In the Mist’.
Marri
Marri, As far as Faces in the Mist, all of your comments from the blog were included in the ebook, I believe. Mark
Ah, Marri, I see what you’re saying. It’s perfectly fine to use nicknames for the books. 🙂 “Faces” is fine. “Mist” is fine. “In” or “the” might be a little confusing, though. 🙂 🙂 Mark
Mark, you have a good sense of humor there, lol !
I guess I am a perfectionist…yet I am not!
Thanks again for listening and understanding! 🙂
Marri
